Title: Few Are Angels
Author: Inger Inversen
Series: Few Are Angels, #1
Publication Date: May 28, 2012

Synopsis: After a fatal hit and run accident, Ella Monroe fears that she’s lost more than her beloved parents. Horrifying visions of a past life and a disturbing voice in her head have psychiatric professionals convinced that she’s lost her sanity as well. But when Kale--a dark and handsome stranger with a mysterious past--reveals the true meaning of her visions and the tremendous power she wields through them, Ella must come to terms with the devastating truths of her own past, while eluding an ancient Dark Prince who seeks to control not only her future, but all of mankind’s, by means of abilities that Ella is only beginning to understand.

Enter the shrouded world of an age old battle between an ancient race known as the Immortals and their bitter enemy Laurent, the so-called Dark Prince, who commands an army of half-breed vampires known as Chorý. Both sides have been desperately searching for the prophesied emergence of the Arc, a clairvoyant with unparalleled power to recall the past and a soothsayer with clear vision into the future.

The Council of Immortals has sworn to protect the Arc, whom they have identified as young Ella Monroe, a college freshman from Virginia living quietly and unaware of her powers or her past. But a renegade Chorý has other plans for the protection of a girl he has loved through the ages. Can Kale convince Ella of who she is, what she is destined to become, and what he once meant to her? Is he truly the best protector to shield the world from the devastating misuse of her powers that Laurent is bent on controlling? Or will the forbidden love they share and Kale’s cursed condition as a retched and hated Chorý be used against them both?

This paranormal romance told from the heroine’s perspective builds in intensity and intrigue to a finale you won’t see coming. Heart pounding action mixed with heartwarming friendships and heartbreaking romance will leave you breathless and begging for more.

Interview:

First off, I'd like to thank you for joining me on the blog today!
JThanks so much for having me!

1. Describe Few Are Angels as a tweet  (140 characters or less)!
Few are Angles is about a girl that learns to cope with the loss of her parents while learning about her enigmatic past and eluding a Dark Prince with the help of a sexy  yet mystifying stranger and a member of a group of immortals created to protect her kind. The reader will follow Ella through, loss, first love, self-discovery and sacrifice in this paranormal romance.

2. If you could re-title Few Are Angels what would you call it and why?
I’m so glad you asked this question! People often think that Few Are Angels is about Angels, but it’s not.  I love the title and I wouldn’t change it, but if I absolutely had to I would re-name it the same name I used when I saved it to my computer. I would re-name it, His Arc. To figure out what an Arc is you’ll have to read the book. J

3. What inspired you to start writing?
When I was younger I enjoyed reading, but I would always change the end of the fairy tales I read and as I got older I started writing stories of my own.  I think reading and daydreaming played a big part in my journey to becoming a writer.

4. What kind of research, if any, did you do for Few Are Angels?
There was some research, but my favorite part was the research I had to do for the name that I would call my vampires in my novel. I wanted to call the vampires in my book something different since they were a different breed of vampire. The word Chorý is a Polish term derived from Proto-Slavic.  Chorý means ill or diseased and since vampirism is considered to be a disease I chose that name. At one point I thought that I would create a cure for the Chorý race and the cleansed Chorý would be called the Zdrowy, which means cleansed or healthy. I’m still playing around with that idea and I’m not quite sure if I’m going to incorporate it or not.

5. Do you have a specific place where you write?
I love to write on my balcony in the summer because I have a great view of the cutest little bunnies and their cute little noses! Recently, I've found that if I take my laptop to my mother’s house and write, she’ll cook for me. So, I've been spending a lot of time over there!

This or That...

EBook or Real book?
I will ALWAYS prefer a real book, but lately I’ve been downloading a lot of e-books.

Twitter or Facebook?
Facebook J

Chocolate or Vanilla?
Vanilla

Past or Future?
Past, I love learning about the past. That’s  why I majored in History in college.

And just for fun- What is the strangest thing on your desk right now?
