My Date with Kaidan Rowe

Thanks to the lovely Lisa @ A Life Bound By Books, I won a virtual date with Kaidan Rowe! The hottie from The Sweet Evil trilogy by Wendy Higgins.

Kaidan: Hallo Kristen, how are you, luv?

My Internal Thoughts: Oh. My. God. KAIDAN ROWE just called me "luv."

Me: Hi Kaidan! :)) I'm doing great! How about you?

Kaidan: Doing well thanks. This isn't awkward at all, is it?? Never had a virtual "date." ;)

Me: No, not in the least! ;) And this, too, is my first virtual "date." I'm not quite sure what the proper etiquette is.

Kaidan: Well I've been threatened with my life to behave as nicely as possible, so I'll give it a try. I think I'm more fun in person, ha

My Internal Thoughts: There's really no need to behav-

Me: And who, pray tell, was brave enough to threaten you? :P

Kaidan: Oh, just Wendy. She terrifies me a little If I'm being honest lol

Me: Did Wendy also forbid you from sharing any teasers from Sweet Peril? ;)

Kaidan: Hm...I know she's shared some on her blog so I suppose I can get away with answering some burning questions if you have any. ;)

Me: Well, I was wondering how you feel about Anna traveling the world with Kopano? Any jealousy, perhaps? ;)

Kaidan: Doesn't bother me much. Good for them. They're probably "meant to be" and all that rubbish.

I only want to kill him the tiniest bit. Every minute. Kidding, kidding, of course. -__-

Me: Oh, Kai..... is someone in denial?

And don't worry, I'll be sure to call Kopano a wanker on your behalf if he tries to make a move on Anna. :P

Kaidan: Ugh, God, I can't think of him making a move. Probably too polite for that anyhow.

Right then. I'm going to turn my music up a bit louder to go to my happy place lol.

Kaidan: I suck at twitter - rarely get on there, but I just tweeted so I suppose that's my quota for the week. Nice.

So, what else do you want to know? I'm feeling uncharacteristically open. I wouldn't blame you for taking advantage of me in my vulnerable state.

My Internal Thoughts: Vulnerable state......

Me: Ha! I find it hard to believe that you could be taken advantage of. :P But, since you insist, what exactly were you thinking when Anna drove away in that cab after what happened in that club? O.o

Kaidan: Oh, God, you've gone straight for the jugular. Who are you, Oprah Winfrey?!?! Ha.

Okay, I'll tell you what I told Anna. That was the worst bloody night of my life.

And you're right, I'm only taken advantage of when I allow it, which I suppose is technically never. ;)

Me: I'm afraid not, but maybe your next virtual date will be with Oprah Winfrey. lol

Awwww, I'm sorry. **virtual hug**

Okay, I have another vital question. I don't suppose you know where Wendy keeps her secret stash of Sweet Peril ARCs? Or maybe you could provide a map? ;)

Kaidan: From what I hear those bastards over at the publishers are stingy as shite (she'd never say so in such terms, but I can read between the lines.)

One more month and you'll know all my dirty little secrets, Kristen. Do you think you can handle it? Not sure I can. Bit late for regrets now, though!

Well, thanks for the date, luv. I'm patting myself on the back because I didn't ask you to get naked even once! And I'm not asking now. At all.

*clears throat*
