Review: This book was SO. FREAKIN'. CUTE. I could not put it down and ended up devouring it in a day. Better Off Friends is the story of Macallan and Levi, who bond over their shared love of a British TV show. These two were so cute! I absolutely loved their witty banter and how they always had each other's backs. Everyone always assumes these two are a couple, but they are going to prove that girls and boys can just be friends. The story is told in alternating POVs, which I loved. My favorite parts, and something I think makes this story very unique, is that at the end of each chapter you get more banter between present Macallan and Levi as they recount their tale. Overall, this was a fairly light-hearted, make-you-feel-good contemporary, which I've been craving lately. Elizabeth Eulberg, however, makes sure her character are anything but one-dimensional. Levi has to deal with having his entire life uprooted as he is moved from California to Wisconsin and Macallan is still dealing with the loss of her mother. These two find comfort in each other and their friendship is an inspiration. <3

    I loved this book too! I really enjoy cute contemporaries, and this one hit the spot for me.
