Verdict: I love being a book blogger! I love being able to promote books I love through my reviews! But sometimes you come across a book you love so much that you're afraid your review won't do it justice. Shooting Stars is one of those books. There were so many things I loved about this book and it had only one fault. But first, the things I loved. The characters were all awesome! In the beginning you are introduced to Jo-Zo, paparazzo extraordinaire! Her father is a very famous paparazzo and she decides to also go into the business because it pays really well and she is saving up money to go to photography school. You also meet her best friend, Mannie, who is super sweet and also a paparazzo. Jo's father is flying back and forth from L.A. to Japan, so Jo is pretty much left alone except for her neighbor/cousin Wendy. Jo is very good at what she does. She has a distinct advantage over the other paparazzo that I will let you find out once you read it. Antyways, since she is so good at what she does she is contacted to do a very special undercover assignment. Which she accepts, not because she really wants to, but because of the $$$$. She thinks she'll be able to get in, do her job, and get out all without a hitch. But things don't go exactly as planned..... Which is one of the things I loved. Allison Rushby completely shocked me, but I loved it! I absolutely loved this book! The only fault? It wasn't long enough- I didn't want the story to end! But I'm crossing my fingers that there might be a sequel in the future! <3
